Jul’ at Les Petits Pas de Juls invited me to participate in the on-going Three Quotes Challenge. Thank you, Jul’! I absolutely love the idea of this challenge. There are some great quotes out there.
Today’s quote is from J. R. R. Tolkein. As a fantasy writer, it’s almost a requirement to use one of the King of Fantasy’s quotes! This one reminds me of hobbits, and it makes me smile every time I hear it.
“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien
The rules of the challenge are:
- I – Post your favorite quotes or your own quotes for three (3) posts in a row.
- II – Thank the person who nominated you.
- III – Pass it on to three (3) other bloggers per quote, each time you post them.
- IIIb – Or pass it to nine (9) bloggers if you choose to post all the quotes together, in the same post.
Now I nominate:
Vivien at Vivien Reis
M. L. at Homesteading at Home
To my reader and writer friends, I would especially like to see a quote from your favorite book or one from your own work!
Wow! Thank you so much for nominating me!
