It’s less than a month until the release of Seirsha of Errinton! I can’t believe how quickly time flies. I will be posting the first chapter next Tuesday, so make sure you stop by.

In other news, I’m taking a break from The Eldentimber Series for a short while. There are three more novel-length books planned, so I’m not ending the series early, but I need to take some time to work on a few completely different projects so I can do those last books justice. I write quickly, but I do not want to rush through something just to publish it.
Right now I’m working on a young adult romantic comedy that I’ve temporarily (and ridiculously) titled, Sparkle, Sparkle. It’s fun and fluffy and romantic, and it’s exactly the break I’ve needed. I’m hoping to have the draft finished by mid-January, but I’m not going to stress over deadlines on this one.
My main focus for early 2016 will be Charting the Waters, a fantasy novel with a subtle steampunk theme. And dragons. This book is my baby, and I won’t even tell you how many drafts and changes it’s been through. I’ve been working on it for far too many years to not get it out there. It’s rough right now, but I’m hoping to have it out by early summer.
And last, a companion novel to Just the Essentials is in the works. I had thought to release the second book first, but I like the way the series flows if I continue with this one. I don’t have a release date yet, but I’ll let you know as soon as I know.
Whew, that was long!
