Current Projects

Canva Current Projects

Good morning, everyone! Here is a list of my current projects, along with the announcement of a new one. Next month, I will be writing The Marquise and Carabas: A Puss in Boots Retelling. It’s a project I’ve had floating around in my head, but it never seems like I have time to tackle it. I’m taking the month of April off to write it, and I will be back to my normal schedule in May.

Also, I wanted to let you know I’ve added a Current Projects tab to my menu on the website, which I will be updating every month or so. I’ll make a note on my blog whenever I’ve added an update.

Here’s what’s going on right now:

Audette of Brookraven

  • Expected Release: 7/8/16
  • Series: The Eldentimber Series, Book 4 (Final)
  • Genre: Young Adult Fantasy

Status: The manuscript is in editing, and the cover art has been finalized. Review copies are expected to be made available toward the middle of June. (If you’re interested in receiving a review copy, please check out my review club.)

Snow or Shine

  • Expected Release: September, 2016
  • Series: Cabin. Coffee. Love. (Final)
  • Genre: Romantic Comedy

Status: I’ve reached the 1/3 mark, and I expect to be finished writing by the end of June.

The Marquise and Carabas: a Puss in Boots Retelling

  • Expected Release: Late 2016
  • Series: I am planning on writing a collection of novel-length standalone fairy tale retellings, but I don’t have any details at this time.
  • Genre: Young Adult Fairy Tale

Status: I will be taking the month of April off to write this book for a fun Camp Nanowrimo project. The outline is finished, and I started on the manuscript yesterday.

Shine and Shimmer

  • Expected Release: Early 2017
  • Series: Glitter and Sparkle, Book 2
  • Genre: Young Adult Contemporary

Status: I’ve started outlining, and the story is coming together.

That’s all for today!
