Back to Routine

I did it, guys. I was able to write 3000 words yesterday.

This might not seem like a big deal (usually it would be just another day), but buying the house really messed up my writing. Every single time I would sit in front of the computer to write, my brain would take off in another direction. I’d find myself worrying about things we needed to get done, the inspection and appraisal, or what color I wanted to repaint the bathroom. Seriously, I had the attention span of a squirrel.

But now most of the boxes are unpacked, we’ve started school back up, and I’m getting back into my writing routine. It feels good.

Because of the delay, Hair of Gold might be out a little later than I originally hoped, probably late March, but since I’m releasing Shine and Shimmer in early February, I think it works.

As of right now, I’ve decided to take a short break from fairy tales once I’m finished with Hair of Gold. I’m dying to get started on my Treasure Hunters for Hire series, and I have the third Glitter and Sparkle book all ready to go as well. I’ll keep you all updated. It’s still up in the air at this point.

All right, I’m off to get some work done! Have a great day!
