Hi everyone! Happy December! We’re already in Week 6 of the 2019 Holiday Event–I cannot believe how quickly these last few months of the year always fly by.

Tomorrow is the last day you can pick up my Obsidian Queen books for only $0.99 each! If you haven’t checked out my urban fantasy pen name and series, now is a great time to give it a try. (Questions about content? I have answers for you in this blog post.) Also, don’t forget to pre-order your copy of Traitor of the Entitled: An Obsidian Queen Novella!

In other news, last week, I finished Forest of Firelight, the first book in my all-new fantasy romance series, The Riven Kingdoms! We’re looking at a spring release. Guys, I’m really loving this story. I’m not sure how many books the series is going to be yet–I’m just going to see how it goes.

Right now, I’m officially on Christmas break! I’ve been making Christmas gifts, watching shows and holiday movies, and I started working on a for-fun short for Fairy Tale Kingdoms. I’ve also watched several K-dramas in the last few months–some better than others. Hotel Del Luna was enjoyable, and the soundtrack is AWESOME. It’s invaded my playlists, and I can’t stop listening to it. My husband asked why I’m listening to music I can’t understand. I told him to go away. ;)

Also, I recently read Between Homes, the fifth book in W. R. Gingell’s The City Between series, and now I’m dying for the next. Anyone else read it? Are you on Team JinYeong with me??? If you haven’t read it, go do it now and then report back in a few days. I’m not joking.

If you’ve watched or read anything fun lately, be sure to let me know in the comments!

That’s about it for today! Have a great week!

  1. First, sometimes music you can’t understand is the best. But my husband says the same thing. ;) I really tried to get into The Between series but I did not make it past the first book. I know Kitty (KM Shea) really likes it too so I gave it a try but I could not get into it.
I did find a little series by Jody Hedlund called the Lost Princesses. It’s a trilogy with a super sweet prequel that I loved.
I also just read book 4 in the Kingdom Chronicles, a fairy tale retelling series by Camille Peters. I’m enjoying the series. Book 3, Identity, is my favorite so far.
If you are interested in medieval historical romance, book three of the Age of Conquest books by Tamara Leigh just came out as well. I really really love medieval times so I greatly enjoy these books.
Hope you are having a great Christmas break!
