Happy Wednesday, everyone!
After beginning the blog book, I’ve started looking forward to Wednesdays! It’s always fun to post a new chapter of Genevieve’s story, and I love setting aside a morning so I can talk to you all.
Before I jump in, I’ll add the links to the blog book. If you’ve been following along every week, you can leap to Chapter Three, which is now available. If you’re new to the Eldentimber blog book, or you’ve missed a few scenes, start here.
Moving on! As most of you know, I’m currently working on Creatures of Midnight, the next book in my Obsidian Queen series that I’m writing as Shannon Lynn Cook. We visited Arches National Park several years ago, and one of the arches was a huge inspiration for a setting in the book. The weather was nice last Sunday afternoon, so we decided to take a day trip to Moab so I could check it out again.
The arch is named Sand Dune Arch, and it’s my favorite in the park. It’s hidden in a narrow canyon, and it’s such a surprise when you find it. Though I won’t be including this particular arch in the book, it was definitely in my mind while I was writing. I’ve posted a short video on Instagram so you can take a look at it! That’s all for today! I hope you enjoy the new chapter!
Wishing you the best,
Shari :)
