Hi everyone!
Jake and I finished up the first draft of Knight from the Ashes just in time for the weekend! We’re planning to start revisions on Monday. I would like to do an early release, publishing the book in late July instead of mid-August, but we’ll just have to see how it goes.
Once the book is with my editor, we’re going to start on a few newsletter-exclusive extras, including a bonus story/novelette (depending on how long it ends up). We’re also creating a Crown and Crest world guide, which we’ll be updating with the release of every book in the series. I’ll have more info coming on both of the bonuses in the next few months.
For now, I’m going to take the weekend off, maybe spend some time in the garden. Look at these gorgeous roses! They’re called Lady of Shalott, and I planted three of them last spring. They’re really taking off this year, and I’m hoping to have plenty to bring inside all summer.
I also found an awesome lemonade recipe to share with you. If you want to give it a try, here’s the link to Under a Tin Roof’s blog. She adds strawberry as well, which looks awesome, but I was lazy and just made the lemonade. ;)
