Writing on the Road & a New Release!

Hi everyone!

We’re on a mini road trip right now, making our way through Utah and Arizona. The weather has been crazy—wind, snow, scorching temps. It’s all over the place, but I really do love this area. We’ve hiked, kayaked, and I ended up in a crazy amount of lake mud. (It was hiding under the sand. Not cool, Lake Powell. Not cool.) It’s also the first time I’ve launched a book on the beach!

Speaking of that, Fall of the Ember Throne, the third book in the Crown and Crest series I’m writing with my husband, is now available! You can buy it for $4.99 or read it for free with a Kindle Unlimited subscription. This has been such a fun project. It’s so awesome to collaborate with Jake and see this world we’ve talked about for years finally come to life. Things are ramping up in this book, so it’s a touch a darker, with quite a bit more tension. If you haven’t started the series, be sure to start with Knight from the Ashes. These books are all part of one big, connected story, so they must be read in order.

Now that Fall of the Ember Throne is live, I’m focusing on The Gilded Fae, the second book in my Royal Fae of Rose Briar Woods series. This one is a little different, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I’m on track for a late June release, so we will be moving up the pre-order soon. I posted a snippet in my Facebook reader group, so head over there if you’d like to read it. (If you’re not already in the group, and you’d like to join, make sure you answer the questions.)

If you haven’t picked up The Masked Fae, the first book, definitely check it out. The series is a collection of connected standalones, so each story is complete and centers on a different couple. However, the main storyline is linked, so it’s best to read them in order. These fantasy books are all about the romance, so each one has sparking chemistry, a touch of delicious angst, and a hint of a fairytale feel. I absolutely adore them, and I think you will too.

Talk to you again soon!

Wishing you the best,

Shari
