I did one of these random facts for Good Intentions, and I thought it would be fun to do one here. This time the list came from The Miss Elaine-ous Life in her Old School Blogging post. Here we go!
What is the last thing you watched on TV? Uh, hmm. I don’t really watch much television. I think it was…yeah, I have no idea. How about a movie instead? The last movie I saw was Big Hero Six. Loved it!
When did you last step outside? What were you doing? This morning. I was taking my daughter to one of her lessons.
What is on the walls of the room you are in? Well, I am sitting at the dining room table, so I am in my kitchen area. There is a large autumn scene canvas over the table. It was from Lowes, and it was cheap. Yep.
If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy? I would buy a lovely house that seems miles away from civilization but is actually five minutes from a Starbucks. I would also hire a housekeeper and a cook. I may or may not have a pet platypus.
Tell me something about you that most people don’t know. My answer used to be that I am a closet fantasy geek, but I’ve let that cat out of the bag, haven’t I? My answer would probably have to be that I am not fond of large gatherings–to the point that I have to talk myself up before large parties and things of that sort. I was massively into theater in high school, and for some reason people don’t think you can be an introvert and be on the stage. Trust me, you can.
Who made the last incoming call on your phone? A publishing company I am not using. What a boring answer. Sorry.
If you could change something about your home, without worry about expense or mess, what would you do? Our laundry room is the size of a postage stamp (so is our kitchen, if I must mention it…), and I would definitely remodel.
What was the last thing you bought? Groceries. Boring.
Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? *Laughing* No.
If you could eat lunch with one famous person, who would it be? This is where I should choose someone witty and intellectual, who will make me look smart. Instead, I am going to tweak the question a bit and give a shallow, but honest, answer. The entire cast from The Princess Bride.
Which store would you choose to max out your credit card? First of all, I don’t believe in maxing out your credit card. But, that said, I know that’s not the point of the question. So…yeah, Barnes and Noble or Amazon.
Is the glass half empty or half full? It’s half full unless it’s a holiday. Darn those holidays and their unrealistic expectations of happiness…(this is a joke only my husband will understand, but on the slim chance he actually reads this blog, I like the idea it will make him smile. Hi, Honey!)
What’s the farthest-away place you’ve been? Um…Texas. I need to get out more.
What’s under your bed? I sincerely hope the partners to all our mis-matched socks are under there.
What is your favorite time of the day? Those beautiful hours after the last of the dinner dishes are done. Though few, they are blissful.
What Inspires You? I’m inspired by old-fashioned love stories and fairy tales. I will often find inspiration in art and, oddly enough, fonts. Fonts are fabulous! I could come up with a whole pile of book ideas from browsing MyFonts.com.
