Greybrow Brothers Q&A

Hi everyone!

Now that Corsair’s Curse is out in the world, I’ve been getting quite a few repeat questions about the Greybrow Brothers series, so I decided to do a Q&A. These questions come straight from readers, both on social media and in my email. Here we go!

How many books will be in the series?

This series is a trilogy, and it will be complete with three books. Right now, only two are showing on Amazon because we haven’t uploaded a pre-order for the final book yet.

How bad are the cliffhangers?

In my opinion, they’re extremely mild. I want each book to feel complete in its own way but leave you excited for the next. As a reader, I love cliffhangers–I find them exciting–but I know not everyone feels that way, so I’m doing my best to rein myself in. ;)

Do I need to read the original series before I start this one?

You really don’t need to. This series stands on its own, even though it’s connected to the last. However, I think you might enjoy it more if you grab the original series first.

You mentioned something about an early release? When might that be?

The official release date for Isle of Sorrows is March 29th, but the book is going really smoothly. I’m leaning toward a February release if possible.

How do you pronounce Soleil’s name?

It’s pronounced like Soleil in Cirque du Soleil: So-lay.

Will Lucia, Avery, Ruby, Esme, Yancey, and/or the baby dragons make an appearance in the series?

Maybe, but I can’t make any promises just yet. If they do, it won’t be until Sunset Horizon. (Book 3)

You mentioned possible spinoffs down the road. Are they related to characters in this series?

I have a series planned for Wilder and a story (I’m not sure how long it will be) planned for Cassandra Marie. However, these will only happen if this series is popular enough to support more books in the world. (So if you love them, leave a review on Amazon and spread the word!)

I hope you all have a great week!

Wishing you the best,

Shari :)
