Pippa’s New Cover!

PippaKindle2ndEditionSmall

The photo shoot was fabulous! We ended up with over three-hundred pictures to choose from, and let me tell you–it wasn’t an easy task to sort through all of them! I chose this one because I loved the flowers and I adore the sassy stance. The cover went live on Amazon last night, and I love the way it looks next to Grace of Vernow: An Eldentimber Novelette. Also, the new edition features the first chapter of Anwen of Primewood!

Next week there’s a $0.99 countdown deal running on Pippa. During that time, it will be featured on Midlist, Fussy Librarian, and a few others. If you haven’t had a chance to read it, it’s a good time to pick it up. After this, it will be at least several months before it goes on sale again.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Great cover!

and… “Grace” was so beautiful to read too! Too short, though! :-P I would have liked to know her more…
The only thing is, suddenly, Pippa sounds and looks a bit different from what we knew of her before… Funny how perspective changes when you change who’s talking.

    1. I’m glad you liked it! Grace and Javid return in the fourth book (which I’m outlining now!).
And yes, perception does make a difference. Pippa especially has been a struggle to look at through other character’s eyes because she is so dear to me. In this novelette, Pippa is a full year younger than she is at the beginning of the tournament, and I felt she would be especially ‘Pippa-ish’– a little more flighty, a little more giggly, a little more teen. One of the things I love about writing is watching my character’s grow, and I think Pippa went through a lot of growth in Pippa of Lauramore.
Thank you so much for reading the novelette! I just love the feedback!

      1. It’s great to read your point of view on your own writing and the way your character grows. It definitely feels that way when you read it and I’m happy to know there’s more to discover about them all soon!
I love the lightness of it all and how easy it is for the reader to fall for your characters.
